Apple Inc. iPhone

Apple Computer Inc. = Apple Inc. The iPhone is here and the computer word is out. The US mobile phone market will look very different through 2007. We are going to see big changes. Networking is taken to a new level. The Apple iPhone introduction certainly shows that they are in agreement with Cisco, the owner of the iPod trademark. But the carriers, Yahoo, Google and other players are also going to be a part of a new generation of Web 2.0 and Mobile 2.0 mashup and integration.

iPhone

“Phone combines three products — a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, maps, and searching — into one small and lightweight handheld device. iPhone also introduces an entirely new user interface based on a large multi-touch display and pioneering new software, letting you control everything with just your fingers. So it ushers in an era of software power and sophistication never before seen in a mobile device, completely redefining what you can do on a mobile phone.” Informs the new website.
