Nokia

Nokia is doing well. They are selling more phones than ever. Cost-effective production, a strong global brand and distribution are key's to Nokia's success. The US market however remains a big challenge for Nokia.

The Web 2.0 and other trend-setters are located in US and Nokia needs to improve in that market. It' s going to be a big challenge for the Nokia management to get a hold of the trendy US market.

iPod certainly has made an impact. We are going to see a design war i mobile phones. Price matters but design and street friendly functions are going to be even more important in some market segments. High-tech and high-touch have to be combined in a way that make people to go to your shop.
